2024 Town & County Tax Bills are now payable at the Steuben County Finance Department in Bath, NY. For more information call 607-664-2488.
Need a copy of a Town & County tax bill? You can go back as far as 2007 on the "PAY TAXES" link above to view and print a copy.
Caton Town Clerks Office
Credit/Debit card and E-check now accepted to pay for dog licenses, hunting licenses, marriage licenses, building permits & for any purchase made in the Town Clerk's Office.
E-check surcharge is $2.50. Credit card surcharge for any item purchased up to $64 is $1.75 added to the card.
Credit card surcharge for any item purchased over $64 is 2.75% added to the card.
As always, you can still pay in person by check or in cash with no service fee.

OCTOBER TOWN BOARD MEETING DATE
Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting for October is rescheduled for the 23th of October. There will also be a Public Hearing prior to the beginning of the meeting pertaining to the following:

LEGAL NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Caton Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, 6 pm, prior to the (rescheduled) Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting, at the Caton Town Hall, 11161 Hendy Hollow Road, Corning NY, for the purpose of considering, LOCAL LAW #2 OF 2024, entitled “NEW YORK STATE UNIFORM FIRE PREVENTION AND BUILDING CODE AND THE STATE ENERGY CONSERVATION CONSTRUCTION CODE”. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that any resident of the Town of Caton shall be heard at such Public Hearing and a copy of the proposed Local Law is on file at the Caton Town Clerk’s Office and is available during regular office hours.

Regular Monthly Planning Board Meeting and a Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting is set for Thursday, October 24th at 6 pm, Caton Town Hall.
Election Day-2024
Election Day will be November 5th at the Caton Fire Station, from 6am-9pm.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget, fiscal year 2025, for the Town of Caton, Steuben County, is complete and available for inspection by any interested persons during regular office hours in the Town Clerk’s Office at 11161 Hendy Hollow Road, Corning NY:
Monday & Thursday-1:00 pm to 5:00 pm & Tuesday & Wednesday-9:00 am to 12 noon.
FURTHER NOTICE is hereby given that the Caton Town Board will meet and review said budget and hold a Public Hearing hereon in the Caton Town Hall at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, and that at such time any person may be heard in favor or against any item therein contained.
